一个人如何能确实知道他已经得救了呢？请细读以下几点，直至你清楚的明白他的真义。
１． 圣经是神的话语，这是绝对真实的，你可以绝对信靠它。
２． 圣经说你若认罪悔改，相信主耶稣基督，你便可以得救（徒二３８，叁１９，十六３１；罗十９）。
３． 现在的问题是：「你曾像失丧的罪人一般，来到基督面前，求他拯救你了吗？你曾接受他作为你罪行的代受刑者吗(罗叁２３；路十叁３；彼前二２４）？你曾相信神叫基督从死里复活了吗？」（罗十９；林前十五１７）
４． 如果你已经这样作了，那麽，神就在圣经中告诉你说：你已经是个得救的人了（林前十五２）。
换言之，我们确实知道自己已经得救了，乃是由於圣经上的话。这话在约翰一书五章１３节中已清楚讲明，每个信徒须背诵这经文： 「我将这些话写给你们信奉神儿子之名的人，要叫你们知道自已有永生。」
请注意上面有线条的字，约翰是写给那些已信基督的人，使他们知道自己有永生。倘若你已相信基督，你便是得救的，这是圣经上所说的。 许多人的困难，是他们只求感觉，而不信靠圣经上的话。他们说：「我似乎没有得救的感觉。」他们正盼望着一些神秘的情绪上的经验。所以当他们没有得到这些经验时，他们便怀疑自己是否得救。任何人若要根据感觉来确定他是否得救，他就有了问题。因感觉是时常变换的，而神的话，却是永不改变的。所以我们要相信圣经，不是凭着感觉。
也许有人问：「当一个人得救时，他岂不感到快乐吗？」答案是肯定的，「是的」。但是，一个人须先知道他已经得救了，然後他才能感觉到快乐。确信在先，快乐在後。我们所以知道是得救的，乃因圣经已经告诉我们了。
除圣经上的话以外，信徒的获得救恩，还有其他叁种凭据：
１． 得救的人是爱他在主里的弟兄的（约壹叁１４）。
２． 得救的人里面有圣灵的见证（约壹五１０；罗八６）。圣灵的见证，是一种从里面来的喜乐与平安。这喜乐与平安是由於相信神的话，确知自己已经得救而来的。圣灵常用神的话向信徒们作见证。
３． 得救恩的人是恨恶罪恶，喜爱公义的。虽然基督徒也可能犯罪，但是，罪再不能管辖他了（罗六１４）。他也不能再继续的生活在罪中了。当信徒的生命渐渐成长时，他对於蒙恩的信心更是坚固。他应该：
（１） 每天能有规则的细读圣经，全心相信圣经上的话。
（２） 当他读圣经时，求神增加信心。
（３）告诉别人「主已从罪恶中救赎了我」。
最後，奉告那些还不能确定自己是否蒙恩，而渴望得救的人。你必须在祷告中告诉主你不能确定自己是否已经得救，你盼望现在就蒙恩，你要向他承认你是一个罪人，你当接受主耶稣基督作你的救主，相信他死於十字架上，为的是要偿清你的罪债，相信他第叁天已复活了，并且相信他能拯救你。
请看使徒行传十六章31节保罗和西拉告诉禁卒说：「当信主耶稣，你和你一家都必得救。」这是神的话，你要相信！当撒但想尽方法，要使你怀疑自己是否蒙恩时，你可抓住以下的经文来抵挡他（徒十六３１；约一１２，叁３６，五２４；罗十９）。告诉撒但说因你相信基督，神说你是得救的。倘若你把圣经上的话告诉他，他便不能再使你疑惑了。
